Why Bitcoin Options Stay Expensive as Volatility Hits 2026 Lows

Bitcoin’s 30-day realized volatility has dropped to around 21.8% annualized, its lowest level since October 2025. Bitcoin Holds Steady as U.S. Inflation Falls
U.S. inflation cooled again in July, but Bitcoin barely moved as investors appeared to have already prepared for the softer economic data. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose just 0.1% in July after falling 0.4% in June.
